CodeCC interpreta i valori della cura e delle relazioni sociali della comunità. Pensato come un villaggio verticale di servizi, al piano terra è stata inserita un’area destinata al primo soccorso ospedaliero e ad ogni piano è stata aggiunta una stanza sociale con diverse funzioni: cultura, sport, svago e lavoro si fondono con la sfera privata delle residenze.
È un progetto di recupero e di riqualificazione di un’area sita in via Cetteo Ciglia a Pescara, con un intervento di adeguamento sismico, riqualificazione energetica e ampliamento di un edificio esistente, attraverso un approccio resiliente, con la volontà di aumentare l’offerta non solo abitativa ma creare anche un mix di funzioni, spazi collettivi e servizi di prima necessità complementari a tutti gli alloggi, in grado di migliorare la qualità della vita per chi ci abita e per tutti quelli che frequentano l’intero quartiere.
Il progetto redatto dallo studio ZEDAPLUS architetti, ha l’obiettivo di realizzare un luogo di cura con un intervento basato sul concetto di densità: una densità orizzontale caratterizzata da spazi pubblici, piazze, luoghi polifunzionali, che si aprono alla città, e una densità verticale fatta di spazi ibridi intermedi posti tra le abitazioni private e lo spazio pubblico esterno. Questi sono luoghi in cui verranno localizzati servizi, spazi per il lavoro e per le persone: attività di smartworking, co-working, etc, pensati anche come luoghi capaci di diversificare attività e servizi che prima non c’erano, visti come estensione di altre attività. L’intervento è pensato come un villaggio verticale inteso sia come comunità che come luogo fisico: una strategia sociale da replicare anche in altri contesti per dar vita a nuove comunità. L’intento non è solo quello di migliorare servizi già offerti e presenti nel quartiere, ma anche rendere possibili altre iniziative, dando vita a nuovi luoghi di incontro, spazi di co-working o servizi condivisi per l’abitare sociale e collaborativo. Gli incontri, le conversazioni e le collaborazioni non sono progettabili, ma sono progettabili i luoghi materiali che rendono tali azioni praticamente possibili.

Conceived as a vertical village of services, an area intended for hospital first aid has been included on the ground floor and a social room with various functions has been added to each floor: culture, sport, leisure and work merge with the private sphere of residences. It is a project for the recovery and redevelopment of an area located in Via Cetteo Ciglia in Pescara, involving seismic adjustment, energy upgrading and the expansion of an existing building, through a resilient approach, with the desire to increase the supply not only of housing but also to create a mix of functions, collective spaces and essential services complementary to all housing, capable of improving the quality of life not only for those who live there but also for all those who frequent the entire neighborhood. The project drawn up by the ZEDAPLUS Architects studio aims to create a place of care with an intervention based on the concept of density: a horizontal density characterized by public spaces, squares, multifunctional places, etc., which opens up to the city, and a vertical density made up of intermediate hybrid spaces placed between private dwellings and outdoor public spaces. These are places where services and opportunities for people to work and socialise will be located: smartworking, co-working, etc., also designed as places capable of diversifying activities and services that were not there before, seen as an extension of other activities such as regional, provincial or municipal. The intervention is conceived as a vertical village intended both as a community and as a physical place: a social strategy to be replicated in other contexts to give life to new communities. The intent is not only to improve services already offered and present in the neighborhood, but also to make other initiatives possible, creating new meeting places, co-working spaces or shared services for social and collaborative living. Meetings, conversations and collaborations cannot be planned, but the material places that make these actions practically possible can be planned.
